When's the game?

Guardians of the Inner Flame is scheduled to play on the following dates at 8pm.

Where's the game?

Sewall Hall, Rice University, the ground (entrance) floor. (Of course, that's technically the third floor. Sewall's a confusing place.)

I've never played a Garou before and know nothing about them. Where can I learn more?

White Wolf has a "Werewolf Quickstart" page with many stylized articles about the Garou. We also found the nearly-complete text of the Laws of the Wild online; the layout is poor, the point values are incorrect, the gift descriptions are a little off, but since we're not using those rules anyway it gives you an idea of what the Garou are all about. For the hard copy, you can always order it online.

Is Guardians of the Inner Flame related to the current RiceGame?

No, Guardians is set in a different "universe" from the Dark Gambit chronicle. The Inner Flame Chronicles are an alternate ending to the City of Deceit chronicle, but they are not part of that game's canon. That chronicle (aka the one before the rice game reset) is officially over. Seekers and Guardians take place in a world of their own.

Do I have to have played Seekers to play in Guardians?

Not at all. In fact, we'd really like it if you haven't played a Garou game before to consider giving us a try.

What's this about Guardians not using Mind's Eye Theater?

We are planning to use the STARS system debuted at Owlcon '01. Don't worry, we'll supply you with all the rules you need and hope that you enjoy the new system as much as we do.

What's the difference between "Starring," "Also Starring," and "Special Guest Stars" on the cast list?

These are distinctions based on total attendance of the Chronicles of the Inner Flame. Starring characters have appeared in at least two episodes total. Also Starring characters have only attended one episode. Special Guest Stars are the primary characters of the Storytellers and Narrators.

What's the translation of Snowfalls's prayer in Episode 2: selva oscura?

In the middle of the journey of our life,
I found myself astray in a dark wood
where the straight road had been lost.

It's the opening of Dante's Inferno.

Who is Ms. Teasdale in Episode 4: into the fire?

Sara Teasdale wrote the poem Snowfalls quotes, "There will come soft rains." Ray Bradbury later used this poem in an short story of the same title and included it in The Martian Chronicles.
